WELCOME BACK PEOPLE #AmeboFriday Coming back.....

We missed you guys, we had only the social media platforms(IG Twitter and Snapchat) to communicate,yeah we had a lot fun but what could it have been without you our dear followers.

RESUMPTION

We resumed 27th of August  2017 , yeah first time in  a while the school had to get the Returning Students back to school before the Freshmen due to new NUC policies , the Freshmen resumed One week after. About 3 weeks the school was still  half empty this made the school drop the School Fees bar to 60%(yeah nice gesture coming from the Registrar) up to this post students were said to still be resuming.

We are here very short semester 4-6 weeks away from the end that's Alpha semester for you but trust us we would make it fun-filled.

WELCOME THE FRESHERS

Yeah special shout out to our new guys , we have been waiting for you, the August Rush window was disrupted but trust the Higher Level guys we know how to get round them, but hollup we have been waiting for them to get online we haven't seen anything yet, no Instagram account nothing just very few , we are still here.


PROBATION

Probation, the highest talked about topic so far this semester, yeah the new rules got all the returning students stunned, all units in a semester crashed to 25units from a whooping 31 units , this new policy changed  pushing many students to probation.
PROBATION: not moving forward , you do all failed courses plus  courses from new level summing to 15units, its a sad one though we heard a lot of parents have pushed for change but you know our school nothing can happen , we heard this order came from the VC or new Director of Academic Planning unit.
With this new law majority of the new engineering students stand a huge risk of falling to probation STAY AWAKE.

SCHOOL WITHOUT AZU

School without Azubuike oh sorry Dr.Azubuike, towards the end of the summer we heard Dr Azu was posted to Landmark University this announcement didn't come with any mixed feelings, joy was all over the social media feeds , our page in Landmark @amebonised_lmu on Instagram has been giving us news and gists we would fill us don't worry trust us. We are here for you

...my stay in CU has been a wonderful one, i must say for so many reasons. i met great minds, God just helped me to be involved in so many things at the same time and i was still able to balance them well with my Academics, Every week came with its challenges and victories as i had to teach different platforms week in week out but i think people and friends i met made the journey easy, interesting and more adventurous for me, being in the  student council came with its  demands bit i loved every part of it, being able to stay relevant in the choir was also a huge thing for me.My stay was awesome and i wouldn't have chosen any other place rather than CU if i had another choice because the environment, stuffs and students will always find a way to lighten you up.
